This year started with the construction of my newest shop in a brand new festival called Sherwood Forest Fair, just north of Bastrop, Texas, only 35 miles from my studio out in the red rock sandstone and pine forest just southeast of Austin, Texas. I celebrate that we experienced a grand opening season and I look forward to many years to come to sell my designs very close to home.

Colorado Ren. Fair was a great success and I am delighted to welcome back Sandi Henza to my shop along with newest arrivals to my enthusiastic sales ladies; Lynna, Ashley and Rachael. Thank you all for all your hard work and unfailing good spirits this last season and see you soon!

Well, today I will fly back up to Ohio Ren. Fair to work the last weekend of that fair, we will pack up a very full Costume Rental Tent to wait until next year and then in the trailer goes all the garments that haven’t yet found new owners all to be transported down south to be displayed in my shop at Texas Ren. Fair. This time of year is always a serious stretch for me since, for only 2 weeks during the early part of October I have 2 booths open and running.

I give my heart felt thanks to Barbara Drake, Matt Drake, Kristian Manners & Brandy Garcia who all drive many miles each week to Swan Lace shop at ORF near Harveysburg, Ohio along with Chelsea, Sheri & Karen.

At my shop at TRF near Magnolia, Texas I send a big hug to Emily Egan, Denise Egan, Julia Jordan & Margaret Worsham who have been the steady force for many years along with Carol Langford, and now the new ladies Ashley & Rhonda. My Texas customers enjoy a very long extended day to play at this show and when they stay through out the whole day we are all treated to a very exciting fire works display right in front of my booth # 249.

After I get home to Texas I will take my birthday, Sunday Oct. 24th off and come home and relax. From this time forward I will enjoy being at home and seeing my family often.

Many thanks to my web-mistress Diana Forest for her patience in teaching me how to weave this new presence within the great Wizard’s Web and to all you who have visited me within my shops and brightened my day with your smiles. I look forward to many years of discovery and delight enhanced by beautiful colors and all my future new designs.

Sincerely, Kathy

Well this is my first blog/post, on the eve of leaving town yet again, and heading out to the Ohio base to set up for the Renaissance Festival that starts up there September 4, 2010.

It has been interesting to learn how to edit and update new website. We just installed into my site, the long needed Shopping Cart, so I can market my “goods” here – as well as share news when I have time to add info here.

As you may know a lot of our Festivals do not have Internet available so that would be the main reason why updates are so long and far between to arrive here on this site. We appreciate your comments and patience and hope that you visit often to see our changes as well as our newest products.

Thank you,
Kathy
